Reiner’s capabilities appear to be limitless. He works as an Interior Designer, Furniture Designer, Freelance Editor for various magazines, online blogger, founder of Likeforms, oh, and a fully registered Architect. As well as keeping all these balls in the air, he kindly found the time to talk to Tilt Shift Rotate.
He describes his work as “holding a fine balance between space, material and typology. My designs have that special ‘something’: that poetic spark that sets it apart from the ordinary.” We at Tilt Shift Rotate have to agree. Tilt Shift Rotate: What does design mean to you, what is your ethos? Where do you do your best thinking? Describe your day in 5 Words? If you could do a commissioned a piece for anybody, who would it be? In the future, what are you afraid of? For more information about Reinier de Jong please visit reinierdejong.com
